    Specialty Lubricants Home | Products | Specialty Lubricants MOLYKOTE™ Speciality lubricants by MOLYKOTE™ are designed specifically to solve lubrication-related problems. Lubricants can also save energy by reducing friction and wear. The unique chemistry of MOLYKOTE™ lubricants ensures that oxidation rates are significantly reduced. This prevents premature lubricant breakdowns, leading to longer service life, more efficient lubrication and fewer undesirable by-products in the lubricant. We provide six different types of lubricants for various purposes: Greases are solid to semisolid materials designed for dynamic lubrication on automotive materials. They contain solid lubricants which make it well-suited to lubrication under heavy loads. Greases are also durable under extreme temperatures. High performance fluorinated greases provide resistance to degradation from fuels and oils. Pastes are grease-like materials containing a high-percentage of solid lubricants. They are especially useful as initial run-in and high-load lubricants. Compounds are great-like silicone lubricants used as non-curing sealants or as release agents between non-metals and metals. Compounds are resistant to oxidation and withstand a wide range of temperatures. High-performance industrial lubricating oils are strengthened with additives to provide optimum performance and service life while maximising protection of the equipment they are designed to lubricate. Coatings are paint-like lubricants that form dry, solid lubricant films that are bonded to the surface. Dispersions are used when solid lubricants have to be applied in liquid form. They consist of finely divided solid lubricants suspended in lubricating fluids. ProSeel® As the largest manufacturer of gaskets in Singapore, Tat Lee prides ourselves on our highly personalised services. Our PROSEEL gaskets have been effectively used for more than a decade in various plants and applications in Singapore and the region, and can be made to order according to our customers’ specifications. Kammprofile Gasket The Kammprofile gasket is a two-part seal compromising a precision-engineered grooved metal core and a soft sealing material bonded to either side of the core. The metal core can withstand high pressure loading while providing excellent deformation and sealing properties. Meanwhile, the soft sealing material fills any surface irregularity on the flange even at low bolt loads. The Kammprofile gasket is easy to handle and fit, and combines the benefits of hard and soft sealing technologies for a lasting seal that offers outstanding levels of gas tightness and joint integrity. The gasket has an unlimited shelf life and can also prolong the use of damaged or rotated flanges. Spiral Wound Gasket Renowned for providing remarkable seal quality under the harshest conditions, the spiral wound gasket seals flanges where temperature, pressure or flow rates demand high flexibility. A spiral of alternate metal strips and a softer filler material mean that the spiral wound gasket offers both good structural support and an excellent seal even with imperfect flange faces. Spiral wound gaskets are available in a variety of metals and materials – allowing for a wide range of structural densities – according to the demands of each application. Ring Type Joint Gasket The ring type joint is designed to last in high pressure applications. It is a precision-engineered solid metal gasket that forms a metal-to-metal seal with flanges. The gasket cross-section is designed to concentrate the bolt load over a small area in order to produce a high seating stress. The ‘RX’ and ‘BX’ gaskets are designed to be pressure activated which improves the efficiency of the seal as the internal pressure of the system increases. This gasket, which is based on the classic novaphit® SSTC material, has become the widely used standard product for oval gaskets that require official approval since TUV testing was introduced in connection with TRD 401. Novaphit® SSTCTRD 401 satisfies the requirements made in the highest testing category D(250 °C/40 bar) specified in TRD 401 without any difficulty. It can, however, also be used when the application parameters are more demanding than this (see the application recommendation below). Oval gaskets 2,4 or 6 mm thick are produced from the basic material, which is 2 mm thick, by certified manufacturers. This means that all the different applications are covered - from delivery of a new boiler to a steam generator that has already been in operation for a long time. Thanks to a sufficiently thick graphite layer and the positive properties of the expanded metal insert, novaphit®® SSTCTRD 401 is unusually adaptable to sealing surface unevenness. Optimum advantage is taken of the low bolting forces required in the closure lid area due to the design parameters to shape the graphite. Novaphit® SSTCTRD 401 also has all the properties of Novaphit® SSTC and can therefore be recommended for any other steam generation application too.
