Eyelet Gasket

Eyelet gaskets are either CNAF or cut graphite gaskets (with or without metal insert) with SS metal strips wrapped around the inner and/or outer diameter. The strips offer special protection against blowout, ruptures and extrusion. The use of graphite affords the gasket good chemical resistance, high compressibility and adaptability. Eyelet gaskets can prevent the contamination of high purity products and the erosion at high medium velocities.

Applications

Eyelet gaskets are good for corrosive and chemically challenging environments.
