Tat Lee’s history started in Singapore under the trade name of Tat Lee Corporation at
Stanley Street, dealing with ship chandelling business.
Eventually, Tat Lee moved into niche business of supplying gaskets.
1973
Tat Lee Engineering Private Limited was incorporated. The Company shifted its
operations to Miri Road.
1975
Established Pamarine Private Limited on 5th May 1975 to supply and service life-rafts.
1983
Tat Lee Engineering and Pamarine shifted to Link Road (Jurong) due to the redevelopment
activities at the Miri Road site.
Tat Lee Engineering started manufacturing gaskets at the new premises.
1992
Pamarine was appointed to be Zodiac distributor for Singapore.
1993
The businesses expanded further and the space at Link Road became insufficient.
Pamarine bought its own premises at Kian Teck Drive and moved its operations there.
1995
Vac-Tech Engineering Pte Ltd was incorporated as a result of acquisiton of Vac-Tech (Singapore) Private Limited, an Australian-owned environmental engineering company.
Following this acquisition, Tat Lee Holdings was set up as a parent company for Tat Lee Engineering, Pamarine and Vac-Tech.
1997
Construction of office and factory building at Chia Ping Road was completed.
Tat Lee Group of companies moved in and this premise became the Group’s headquarters.
1999
Sealing Solutions Pte Ltd was established.
Caravan Services was introduced to our oil and gas industry customers.
2000
Asiatic Pamarine Co Pte Ltd was incorporated in Singapore. This Company’s main business is on supply of locomotive spares to the locomotive market in China.
2005
Pamarine was ranked 412th in the Singapore SME 500 initiated by DP Information Network.
Pamarine was appointed to be EVAC Marine agent in Singapore. Evac designs, manufactures and markets environmentally friendly water collection and water treatment systems
for the shipbuilding industry.
Research & development department was set up under Pamarine.
2006
Tat Lee (Thailand)
Ltd was incorporated for the gasket supply market in Thailand.
